A vida é um caminho de eterna busca e toda busca remete a um aprendizado.
Aprendizagem é, por definição, um processo ininterrupto de aquisição de conhecimento que se dá ao longo da vida por meio de um sistema cíclico. Em todo o nosso caminho acumulamos experiências que chamamos boas e/ou ruins - lembrando que essa classificação de bom e ruim é muito relativa e pessoal - mas que sempre nos levam ao crescimento.
Para que tenhamos um melhor aproveitamento de nosso aprendizado, nossas experiências devem ser numerosas e diversificadas o máximo possível. É como assistir a um filme ou ler um livro, na primeira vez recebemos sua mensagem e nossas emoções se envolvem de uma determinada maneira, porém, ao assistir/ler pela segunda vez percebemos coisas novas, interpretamos a mensagem de um jeito diferente, a relação de nossas emoções com o contexto da história também muda e assim, novas lições são absorvidas. Portanto, não apenas a quantidade de experiências vividas é importante, mas também a qualidade dessas vivências.
De uma maneira geral procuramos nos manter em equilíbrio, evitamos conflitos e situações desfavoráveis, normalmente por medo de errar e de sofrer.
A nossa cultura nos passa uma visão distorcida do erro. Crescemos aprendendo que o erro é ruim, educados num sistema de recompensa pelo acerto e punição pelo erro. Nunca nos ensinaram o real significado do erro e muito menos o quanto ele é essencial em nossas vidas.
O fato é que os erros são sinalizadores, eles nos mostram onde nos encontramos na jornada, se ainda falta muito ou se já estamos próximos a realizar nosso objetivo.
Atingir um estado de equilíbrio não é tão difícil, o complicado é aceitar os desequilíbrios e reconhecer sua importância para o nosso crescimento pessoal. São as dificuldades e obstáculos do caminho, os erros cometidos e sofrimentos conseqüentes que nos possibilitam analisar e avaliar a situação, adaptar ou mesmo realizar as mudanças necessárias em nossa vida.
Somos impulsionados a sofrer processos de desequilíbrio a todo o momento, só assim podemos sair do estado chamado de acomodação. Quando estamos numa situação confortável acabamos permanecendo nela e isso muitas vezes é ruim, pois o comodismo nos limita.
Isso acontece com toda forma de aprendizagem, ao dirigir por exemplo, no início nos encontramos apreensivos, observamos tudo procurando nos familiarizar com o objeto (o carro), é tudo muito novo. Num segundo momento, passamos a interagir, colocamos o cinto e adequamos o banco ao nosso tamanho, ajeitamos os espelhos e ainda com o carro parado passamos as marchas para gravarmos suas posições e ficamos simulando todas as ações da direção.
Mas é com o carro ligado e em movimento que, ao girar o volante, podemos perceber quanto de força é necessária para uma curva mais aberta ou fechada, qual o tempo adequado para mudar de uma marcha para outra, com qual intensidade devemos frear… Com a prática conseguimos dominar e nos adaptar ao novo.
No entanto não paramos por aí, sabemos que somente dirigindo em meio ao trânsito é que poderemos aprender de fato, pois o trânsito real nos proporciona uma série de “situações problemas”, isto é, coisas inesperadas as quais teremos que resolver.
Devemos sempre procurar por essas “situações problemas”, por desafios, mesmo quando há a possibilidade de erro ou desequilíbrio pois essa é a oportunidade para aprimorarmos tudo o que já aprendemos anteriormente e assim evoluir.
Esse ponto de vista pode parecer um pouco masoquista a princípio, no entanto, se avaliarmos de maneira mais racional podemos perceber que tudo é assim, faz parte do ciclo natural da vida onde nada é imutável nem finito, porém tudo se transforma.
Certa vez, li um texto que dizia: “[…] todos nós conhecemos pessoas que fazem absoluta questão de estar certas nos menores detalhes. Nós mesmos, muitas vezes, nos incluímos nesta categoria: não nos permitimos errar. Tudo que conseguimos com esta atitude é o pavor de seguir adiante - porque certos passos exigem decisões novas, cujos resultados desconhecemos. O medo de errar é a porta que nos tranca no castelo da mediocridade: se conseguirmos vencer este medo, estaremos dando um passo importante em direção à nossa liberdade” (Paulo Coelho).
